she's listed under s for solo. is her marriage in the eu canon, so much so that starwars.com has her listed as such even though she was never married in the movies?

It's been a long time since I've read any of the EU, but I think the marraige is supposed to be about 3 years after RoTJ. That would've been the end of The Courtship of Princess Leia.

Pretty much everything in the EU is canon, except for where it directly contradicts stuff in the movies. George Lucas has drawn a lot of prequel material from the EU, such as the planet Coruscant, one of the twilek Jedi's in Episode II, the Juggernaut Assult Vehicles, etc.

As a quick note, it's 4 years after the movies.
The answer is maybe.

If only he had drawn Kashyyk from the books. I'm still mad about that.

and whoever wrote about coruscant first, totally stole it from Isaac Asimov's Trantor from the Foundation series. the way Asimov described it, it was all like totally coruscant, including the bit where the only green place on the planet was the emperors palace.

DS, you are confusing canon with continuity.

Meh, I have a huge collection of Star Wars books, I can't even read them anymore. Some of them are signed by the authors. I should get rid of them, they just take up space on my bookshelf. GL RAPED MY CHILDHOOD.

I think she should be under O anyways, in the EU she's Leia Organa-Solo.

Same, it needed to be like KOTOR Kashyyk

Yes, because the whole 15 seconds of Kashyyyk that you saw in the movie is what the ENTIRE planet looks like.

^^ Exactly. The forest moon of Endor had deserts on it as well, but you never saw that in the movies.

On the contrary, Lucas considers anything out of the movies as uncanon. He only makes sure that none of them mess with anything he's working on.

True, he has used things from the EU, but that's because they've been generally accepted as fact and to change them would be pointless. If he wants to step on the toes of EU stories however, he does. Such as the whole backstory of Boba Fett being "Jaster Mereel."
