I'm getting really really bored.

Making money mowing laws and stuff has just about bored me to death. I've get a decent amount of money and don't really even have anything I want to spend the money on this year anyway. Anyone else feeling the same way?

Buy stormtrooper armor and work as a person standing on a street corner advertising for people. Of course, you will have to work hard to actually profit after buying the armor. And then you could have a lot of fun with the armor around town.

Find something to do besides the work. You've got a lot more time to do stuff now that school is out (or clse to out). You could also scale the work back a little bit.

Make a game out of it. Give me however much money you've made, then the next day try to beat that amount. Repeat.

putting away money for the future, in savings or whatever, is never a bad idea. I've saved a little bit of money for years, and now I can go on this freakin awesome honeymoon :)

I did lawns and landscaping during middle and high school and I never had enough, heh :) I spent it on my car, insurance, fast food, backpacking trips, camping trips, etc.

Walk into home depot, find a big hose clamp, hold it up, and say "Look sir, droids!"

I'm bored with my job too... so I spend lots of time on Massassi. But I'm usually never bored when I'm at home; there's lots of stuff to do.

Well, I don't have a car, and I don't have anyone to go hiking or camping with, and my PC doesn’t really need to be upgraded. I'll probably build a new one in '06 but that's long way off.

I should probably make some friends. I have a very good friend down in Houston who I still talk to regularly, and there's a kid down the street that I sometimes hang around with, but he's going to be gone most of the summer. So, basically I have one person I know in Tulsa after five years living here. It's difficult for me to meet people because I'm both home-schooled and go to a church that has no kids my age. But when I do meet kids my age, it seems like all they're interested in is sports or Christian music bands. I've never been very interested in organized sports, and by and large, Christian music performed by teenagers is not only boring, but usually of poor quality. (I’m sorry, but chanting “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus” over and over to some sappy tune is not only loathsome, but blasphemous) If I ask them about their computers, I usually get something like, "Uhhh, it's Windows ME I think." It's difficult to talk about anything else because everyone's so fixated on basketball, football or whatever other sport is in season.

Girls, on the other hand seem to have a disturbingly intense fascination for boyfriend/girlfriend gossip. Usually the concept of a guy just being a friend seems a bit beyond them. More mature girls seem to be rare.

Maybe it's where I live. Everyone one I meet who could potentially be a friend has a rather irritating habit of living 500 miles away. I duno. I guess I’d just like to be able to hang around with people like I used to. Playing CS:S, or UTK4, for the 6,000,000,000th time is beginning to get boring. So I guess I’m feeling a bit bored and depressed right now.

Amen. I think the only solutions are running away or joining a suicide cult. I mean... what are we supposed to do with all this time?

Step 1) Find a Hobbytown or Games Workshop near you, or some place that hosts Warhammer 40k games.

Step 2) Spend 500 dollars on a 2000 point Warhammer 40k army.

Step 3) FIGHT IT OUT!

Well, I'm bored out of my mind too. I live in the country, no lawns around to mow, no friends within 10 miles. I want to do something outside, but there's nothing to do. Maybe we could start walking towards some point in some state Obi and meet :P. Atleast I've got a 2 week family vacation out west coming.
I had a blog. It sucked.

i was homeschooled all my life and never had any trouble making friends... but iirc there's a pretty big homeschool group in Tulsa... or you could go to bartlesville. i know the homeschool group there is full of fun people (used to live there and still go down to visit friends every now and then)

if you've got money saved up you could get a car.. but insurance payments are NOT fun, heh.

Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Save the money in a bank account. Just because you have the dough, it doesn't mean you have to spend it yet. Eventually, when you become more independent, you will have enough expenses to use the money for.

Bored out of your mind? Exercise. Exercise a lot. I just started running a mile everyday. The more buff, the better, I say.

Do community service . . . if you really have A LOT of time.

Perhaps, you should get a new job where there is a large social atmosphere and you can see a lot of people. You know, department stores and such.
