I am oticeing that on an number of sites, one of the google ads is for an illegal download of staw wars episode three. that is illegal for them to have in their advert list, isn't it?

They're advertising sites that are related. It's not their fault a lot of sites on the internet are warez sites.

look at the ads there are now, speaking of illegal, a police chase just went by my house, a motorcyclist being chased by a police car. first time I have ever seen an actual chase. must check news tomorrow to see what it was.

pssh. that's nothing. I had the Arsenal newsletter delivered to my gmail account and at the bottom of the page there were adverts for Man Utd stuff. I mean really.

You should be in deep trouble yourself. By creating this thread, you're causing these ads to be propogated even more.

actualy, with the sites I visited that had the bad ads, the mere mention of star wars was enough to bring up the bad ads.

Yeah, but it's not a misspelling. It's my preferred way to spell that. When I refer to the large, hairy creatures of the Star Wars Universe, I spell it "wookiee".

Besides, googling "wookie" would probably get more related hits than "Staw Wars"!

so google will allow advertisers to advertise illegal downloads and plagiarized papers but they don't want me to say s*** or f*** on my site so they won't post ads with us.
