LFG WoW!!

Ok so I'm playing WoW and loving it, however, I really would like to join a guild with people I at least somewhat know. Either I didn't search good enough or there isn't an official massassi guild/server to join which I find kind of odd. I know there's a lot of massassi WoW players out there, and it's kind of silly to be spread out across multiple servers.

So.. yeah. If there is a server/guild could someone kindly point me in the direction of it? If there isn't one, let's make it! I would propose starting completely from scratch, so no one wouldn't want to join because they'de be so far lower leveled, or are to involved with their higher leveled character.

Now obviously the guild creator should probably be someone more known throughout the massassi community.

Really I just want to be in a group with some common ground and a name a little better then my current guild- Raging Pandas  .

I really like this idea. I'd join it on whatever server you guys want.

Hmmm...

Should we try a RP or PVP server? Or a normal server?

Suggestions for servers are:

PVP: Smolderthorn

RP: Scarlet Crusade, Cenarion Circle

Normal: Whisperwind

There are too many alliance, so maybe Horde?

I'm in.

Nathrezim is an excellent, small (low lag), PvP server. Connection Problem and I both have horde characters on that server. Might be fun.
2005-06-04, 9:46 AM #6
Ack, I've got several Alliance characters on Nathrezim though.
2005-06-04, 9:49 AM #7
Oh yeah, definate preference to Horde and PVP. Just sayin'.

We should start on a server no one has any characters on, so we can level up together. So basically, we have decided on Horde and (probably) PVP. Now we need a server. Any suggestions? Will Stinkywrix's suggestion of Smolderhorn work?

Works for me
2005-06-04, 10:03 AM #10
Oh right, should we use our massassi names ingame?
2005-06-04, 10:06 AM #11
Smolderthorn it is then.

Personally, I don't think we should use our massassi names, but thats just me.

If you guys really want to, then we can.
2005-06-04, 10:07 AM #12
I would do it but I dunno if I would play that character much because I just started a new mage I want to level on a server with all my real life friends. (Aggramar)

Oh I've got it. We can use whatever name we want and then put our massassi name in our guild message

That should work.

Smolderthorn pvp server, horde, what should our guild name be?
2005-06-04, 10:11 AM #15
Massassi, of course!

Now, for characters. What's everyone going to be? I can't decide between priest, druid, and shaman. :o

I am most definatley going to be a warlock.

Undead probably, except that I hate their robes. *shudders*

I might be a shaman, probably tauren or orc.

But my first character will be a warlock.
2005-06-04, 10:17 AM #18
Undead mage.

Herbalism/Alchemy.

w00t.

So we aren't using our Massassi names?

2005-06-04, 10:18 AM #19
No, we aren't.

We're going to put them in our own little guild notes besides our names.

People, put your character names down, so I can get to them easily.
2005-06-04, 10:19 AM #20
K. Also, are we going to use any sort of voice software?

2005-06-04, 10:20 AM #21
Well I think we've decided that you don't have to, but you can put it in your guild message so we know who everyone is.

And I think I'm leaning towards a priest... but which is better for that, Troll or undead?

I'm not sure.

Maybe.

You guys will have to put up with my 'going-through-puberty'

voice.

If I can get my mic working.

:D

We'll use ventrilo.

I actually have a level 60 and 37 character on Scarlet Crusade Alliance side. I want to go Horde, but I've made too many friends(and I help lead a semi-prominent guild) to just move to Horde. :( WoW is also the reason I don't post on Massassi nearly as much as I used to. Well, that and Battlefront.

I recently got into Battlefront again myself, Keiran. What server do you play on?

Nergathul in game, btw. I'm there now.

The problem is that I like the people too much to just leave. I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too. >_<

NERF SHAMANS!

Druid.

You get awesome shapeshifting abilitys, and I just saw a thread on the WoW forums about how they can tank Magmadar.

Don't believe half the crap you see on the forums, good and bad. Just speaking from experience.

And druid is a good class, just don't expect to kill nearly as quickly as a Rogue or Mage. More like as quickly as a Warrior and Paladin.

What's the Vent server info?

(If you sort by number of players, Keiran, you should see something about a FART clan - usually runs 40-50 people at all times. Pretty fun server, I stick to that. Lord Malice in game.)

I'm going to set up vent asap.

My thing is I usually like to be the "jack of all trades" class. To me that sounds like a shaman, but druids sound like they are incredibly versatile as well. To be honest, I am kind of leaning toward druid, but am I limiting my roles by going druid?

I played a druid to level 32 and had a load of fun. Good healing, good buffs, and good damage. All around very useful, in my opinion.

No.

You can heal, you can tank, you can DPS, etc...

Thats what the forms are for.

Alright, I don't get vent, somebody else set up.

*eyes glaze over* Vent server info? Like I said, I just jump into the first good server I see. I don't really look at anything besides how many people are playing. And I tend to join games with no more than 10 players but with tough bots. Just feels more commandoish that way.

A healer druid is one of the best healers in the game. A bear druid can tank almost as well as a Warrior or Paladin. But when it comes to DPS, that's where your spells come in. Don't bother with cat form past level 40 except to stealth.

2005-06-04, 10:41 AM #40
