I have the Star Wars Vehicle Guide or whatever, and two books with pictures explaining weapons and stuff. That's it.

I really have to start buying Star Wars books. I read Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter and the Original Trilogy. But I now want to buy those, plus the new Trilogy. Then I'll consider buying the Expanded Universe and stuff.

All I have now is a Polish version of Phantom Menace Illustrated Handbook, a Kid Version of Phantom Menace, and some really cheap Star Wars Original Coloring Books from when I was young

I'm poor. :(

Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I really like the Bounty Hunter collections. I remember one kick-*** short story where Boba Fett destroys an entire AT-AT Walker, infiltrates an Imperial Base, murders everyone, and then escapes just before the entire compound self destructs! It was awesome, so awesome in fact that I think I'll go read it now.

I hate west end, they cannot tell size differences by jsut looking at stuff. (i.e. the fact they thought the executor was oly 8 km long when it was realy about 17.5 km long.)

They also got the name for the standard Star Destroyer Class as seen in the original trilogy wrong. They are all Imperator class, not Imperial class. But who really cares? The point of the game is to just have fun.

Edit: West End Games also wasnt solely responsible for the error in the Executor's length. They based their number on information given in the first edition of the Guide to the Star Wars Universe, which was released about 3 years prior to the creation of the roleplaying game.

Another mistake is that WEG's books list the Executor as belonging to the Super Class of Star Destroyers- This is a name that Kenner (the toy company) made up because the real name for the class, Executor class, was deemed to scary for kids. Kenner erred in what they thought the word "executor" meant- it's pronounced "eg-zek-u-tor," not "ex-e-cu-tor," as in "the executor of an estate." The word the officials at Kenner were thinking of is "executioner."

Ahh, I'm glad you asked. After some sifting through my bookshelf, I just found it.

I'm afraid it's a short story though, and thus you'll have to buy an entire book to get it. If you're interested, the book the short story is included in is Tales From the New Republic, and the short story is "No Disintegrations, Please" by Paul Danner, pg. 250 in the book.

If you want to just read the short story, you could always just go into a bookstore, pull the book off the shelf, and read the short story there. It's only about 25 pages long. :p
