you don't ever have to be fond of someone to tell how your day is going without thinking you have to be cool and not bore them by telling them something... anything...

but this approach must be good if its simply the girls fault, filters them out!

To be fair, it's not like he started the conversation. We guys generally assume that if someone's talking to us, it's because they have something they want to say.

Really, most girls I talk to on AIM are the ones that say "oh **** I gotta go bye" the instant I say "Hi." At least these are the ditzy ones I don't care about. :p

Oh so glad I'm not having girl issues of any kind.

Usually efficient tools (re: JED) don't look very pretty, but work very well. Things that look pretty (re: JKEdit and Girls) aren't all that great. Just a lot of flare and no substance.
