That pretty much covers everything I found wrong with Episode 3.

Also, if you want to actually watch Episode 3, it seem the google ads will help you out.

Wow that was totally the movie I saw. I don't know which one my friends saw. Appearently even though they were in the same theatre they closed there eyes and imagined a good movie.

I had a disclaimer here, but the man said it was too long.

You might want to put a language warning on that too.

I wish the movie were like this...maybe it would've made George another 10 million $ and been almost as enjoyable as 4-6
I had a blog. It sucked.

That was EXACTLY how the movie went for me. It pointed out just about everything that my friends totally failed to notice.

Haha, this line cracks me up, and is SO true at the same time:

Suddenly, IAN unleashes some force lightning on SAMUEL, which he absorbs into his lightsaber and somehow pushes back onto IAN, which causes him to grow old, apprently.

Wow, you really can absorb force
lightning with a lightsaber. Someone
really, really needs to tell Luke that.

I just got done watching RotJ with my family, and during te throne room battle between Luke and Vader, even my Dad (who hardly knows anything about STar Wars) commented on how Luke should have used his saber to deflect the Emperor's lightning like in Ep. 3

There were many other funny (and very true parts) as well, some of which had me literally L-O-L-ing.

Luke threw his saber toward Palpatine's feet to show how Palpatine had failed to seduce him. He may have found it difficult to block the lightning with his saber when it was across the room...

Also I read this "new" script about 4 or 5 days ago... omqoldnewz :em321:

Luke, if I recall, throws his saber into the chasm... he wasn't going to retrieve it.

Are you sure? Do you mean that shaft, where Vader throws the Emperor down?

...Even after Obi Wan made such a big deal to Anikin about not losing his lightsaber in EP 2? Luke is a baaaaad jedi.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

He was getting zapped... couldn't focus. It's not as if he could just hit the fire button and automatically pull his saber back to him.

In the book he even tried to block the lightning Yoda-like with his hands. I worked for a few seconds...

IIRC, it's on his belt when he's dragging Vader.

Besides him not being able to retrieve his lightsaber because he was being fried alive he actively chose not to fight. That's the whole point of the movie. He didn't win through fighting, he won through his father's love.

Great, I love the Pulp Fiction references.

But I do think we need some QFTs of the original reviews some people gave on this movie. Given time with these prequels, suddenly everyone thinks they're crap.

I'm just glad I don't actually care about the story. I just like to see duels. >_> <_<
