I seriously doubt it's wet. With a rear wheel drive car like that and not a lot of weight on the back wheels, it's amazing he pulled that off in the first place. It must just be the track surface and the angle of the camera that makes it look wet.

Not to mention the wheels are most likely professional racing wheels, which have virtually NO traction on water. And if the track is wet, they wouldn't be stupid enough to allow them to race.

And tracks resemble that at night time. Realize, tracks are NOT built like normal streets. They are built to take a lot more abuse and wear and tear on them. When I went racing, the track is kind of shiny like that.

I can't think of anything to put here right now.

watch behind his tires he leaves a slight wake in the water where he picked it up just like any car driving over rain and leaving a mark where it drove... I have been to drag strips to, and although they are somewhat glazed and extremely grippy they are not THAT shiny in the dark like that...

Rather funny, they use the metric system but did it on a 1/4 mile track, which is not metric.
