I already have the book. I'm going to wait until the DVD goes on sale cheap and I can get it for < $15 at walmart.

After reading the book, I kinda disliked the movie. Up until that point, I thought it was god's gift to film.

That's just me though. I just know everyone I know who has read the book and seen the film likes the book a lot more.
