If I could kill this man, I would.

I made the serious mistake of taking him with me into the temple on the Unknown Planet. Now, I'm at the door where you have to make the pressure plates light up to form an H to open the door. But Jolee keeps following me AND SCREWING UP MY FORMATION.

Is there any way to get this annoying little @#$@#!% to stay where I want him to?!

every time ive done it, your two party members stop right at the entrance so you can do the puzzle yourself

Yeah. Solo mode just wasn't working for some obscure reason, but I managed to make my way through it regardless of Jolee's stupidity.

Interesting problem. Every time I've played through it, Jolee and Juhani have stopped just inside the room and stood still. Is it just Jolee that's in the temple with you? It's possible that they're only programmed to stay put if both of them are in your party.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

The guy who did Jolee's voice also voiced that big robot face made of Sentinals at the end of the Matrix Revolutions.

you know, if you go darkside you can kill Jolee, Juhani, Mission, and Zalbaar too (maybe Carth, I didn't try that one)

The guy that does Jolee's voice is, I believe, the narrator of Baldur's Gate. He also does voices for several other Bioware games, obviously not suprising.

Actually, if you do all of Zaalbaar's side quests and earn his trust, you don't even have to use mind trick and he'll stay with you afterwards.

You can only kill Carth if you have a female character.

You'll have to go through most of the romantic options with Carth first.
The answer is maybe.
