.. Small squads of Combine soldiers that will have around 150 hp each. Citizen hp has been increased to 85 or so to counter this.
I was looking for some senarios (ideas on scipted sequences too, eg. witnessing 3 soldiers rush though a door and take postitions before their AI took over) that would house some sweet *** squad combat action.
I noticed that by raising the hp of the soldiers, thus letting them live for more then 2 seconds, it seem the Combine AI is very good, and I've been flat out RAPED by them multiple times.
Ex: In a testmap, I just ambushed a 3 man squad, and downed 2 of them with many smg and ar2 rounds. The last soldier who I could only hit a few times, went for cover. Aparently. Just as I went to turn a corner that I was facing away from, he came strafing out of said corner firing and quickly hid again behind some boxes nearby. I figured he'd show himself after reloading. Instead he rushed around the other side of the boxes and killed me while I was expecting him on the opposite side. I thought "wow, that was nice."
Gimme ideas!
