Where's the lime?

I tried my first bottle of Lime Coke, and I was sorta disappointed. Maybe I set my expectations a little high, but I didn't get the lime-tasting goodness I hoped. I guess I should try another bottle to be sure. It tasted mostly like regular coke.

What's your most/least favorite "side version" of a major drink? I think I actually like Cherry Dr. Pepper.

Lately I've been hooked on Coke with Lime, I really enjoy the taste. As for least favorite, I hated Pepsi Blue, and Mountain Dew Limewire wasn't the best either. Pepsi Twist to me was making Pepsi even more sugary than it already is. I tend to enjoy coke products more than pepsi in general.

i cant taste the lime in coke with lime either, my dad sure can and hates it, taste the same to me

My favourite is vanilla, then its goes lemon then lime. Coke, Pepsi, same thing.

One thing I don't understand about coke/pepsi products, is why they need like 350grams of ****ing sugar in their drinks. All you need is one can and you have your sugar requirements for the next 6 years.

i can taste the lime... it's usually after you take a drink and when you burp when it's the most noticable

Mt. Dew Pitch Black was surprisingly good. I also liked Mt. Dew Livewire.

Lime coke has a very slight lime after taste. It's nothing that strong by any means.

i LOVED Pepsi Blue, that was the **** man. i liked vanilla coke, but pepsi coke tasted exactly like vanilla coke, but had a worse commerical. The Pitch Black Mountain Dew was really really good, but lime wire was lacking. Cherry Coke is probably the best variation though.

What is it with the new Diet, No Caffine, No Sugar, No Carbs, No [Insert ****ty nutrition thing here]? They just make it carbonated water! My brother has to drink that **** because otherwise he'll have accidents, so now I have to!

Yes... Its carbonated water... :rolleyes: I don't mind the taste of the diet no caff ****, but after using it as a chaser one night I haven't touched it since.. *shudders*

I don't drink soda, except for smaller brands that use real sugar (preferably unrefined).

I remember when Pepsi Blue was selling for 25 cents for a liter, 30 for a 2 liter, and 50 for a 3 liter.

I was tempted to buy it even though I hated it.

Down in Mexico a coke with lime juice added was the cure for ANY illness you might have contracted. In the couple years I was down there I was told to use it to cure just about every type of stomach problem you could think of, colds, flu, stuffy nose. You name the illness, they told me to drink coke with lime juice.

Fountain Coke Mixes > Mass produced crap.

I can mix whatever I want into my Coke at a local pharmacy. And the flavor is far better. The added flavors in most manufactured stuff is usually weak.

Anybody tried the Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper? I like that. Hate the limes of either product.

Pepsi Blue was Kool-Aid to me, Sprite Remix IMO is just that Wal-Mart flavored water, and Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper tastes too much like Dr. Pepper. Cherry RC is prolly my favorite.

Hm, I just tasted the coke & lime thing and I can barely taste the lime. And nowhere in the ingredients does "lime" appear. Talk about a rip off.

Fountain mixed drinks are much better than canned. Also, cream sodas are better than mostly every soft drink on the market. There's a wide variety of flavors...orange and cream, cherries, etc. Stewart's makes good stuff.
