My BIRTHDAY!! - oh and I need ideas

Ok! So not yet. I'm turning 17 on May 17th [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] (monday) hehe. One of my best friends was born on the same day so we're having a joint birthday party at another friends house who's quite an awesome party planner/thrower. And thats her present to us [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]It's going to be on Saturday the 15th... Thing is tho... I need ideas for a couple of things! Like music and party gifts.

I want just lighthearted fun music. I'm into heavy metal myself but I usually have a funner time at party's with like fun boogie music if you know what I mean. Stuff like Jet, Outkast, ronan keating (the fast stuff).. upbeaty stuff but happy music [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] So some ideas would be nice for my party CD [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] all of a sudden I've forgotten all my happy music!

FOr gift ideas. I'm quite frankly broke. I'm personally covering the cost of the food, dan (my friend-twin-birthday-friend) is doing snacks, im doing cake, and decorations n everything. I'm poor to start off with so I"m gone and my parents aren't really wanting to help :P since I'm not having the party at our house. Sooo! I need ideas for something fun I could make/do for all my friends as their gifts when they leave... theres about 12-14 people... and I'm uber crafty and I do have *some* money I guess...but yeah.. any ideas? theres 6 guys, 8 girls if that helps at all. thanks sooo much.

COME ON BE CREATIVE!

hehe thanks [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

For the music

Download (or buy <shiftyeyes> ) New Wave Jacket by POLYSICS. It's a japanese song, but its incredibally high energy, and just an awesome song.

Blue Man Group!

aren't they supposed to give you gifts? And we'll wish you a Happy Birthday on your birthday, not before.

Happy early birthday.
Can't suggest anything for the music or anything else, sorry. I've always been forced to not have b-day parties in which I invite my friends; it's always a 10:00 pm on Sunday night 30 min "party"...if it's even a party, that is -- singing happy birthday then getting a couple gifts then hitting the sack. Yeah, that's my birthday.

Hope yours goes well. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Franz Ferdinand! It's very high-energy music you can bop along to.

In fact I read in an interview yesterday that Franz Ferdinand's goal was to make rock music girls could dance to...

Oh and happy birthday [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Dance Dance Revolution Parties are the kickingest.

Step 1:
Get a ps2/xbox/ps1 and a Dance Dance Revolution game. Plus some pads.
*approx cost*: "Birthday, mommmy, I want this as a present!"

Step 2:
Invite friends. Lots.

Step 3:
Take turns making fools of yourselves.
OR
Watch as you all turn up the heat on your feet

AND
Listen to bouncy happy fun music with variety all night long.

Step 4:
Happy Birthday, Wolvie!!
