I cannot wait for this game. I personally think that RC will put JO/JA to shame, and even maybe Battlefront as well. The squad-based play will be a nice change of pace from the older Jedi Knight games, and judging from the trailer, it looks like they've got the gameplay and balance really well fleshed out.

What are other peoples thoughts on the game? I personally think that Massassi should concentrate on RC Editing next, especially since it is supposedly shipping with a map editor included with the game. There also appears to be no major Republic Commando fansites (that I could find) so its a void just waiting to be filled.

It's hard to tell from the trailer. I fear it'll end up being just some other generic FPS. I hope the squad-based combat comes into play heavily. I also hope it doesn't feel too much like a console game (DX2 anyone?). The graphics look pretty nice, and if it has great gameplay I'll be sold. Editing would definitely be a plus, though.

It looks really fricken cool, much better than I thought it would.
