So now that the jury is deciding his fate, what do you think the outcome will be?

I'm thinking not guilty, but I haven't been following to make an informed decision. That's why I want to hear from you guys. :p

I voted not guilty, but I haven't actually been paying attention to the case.

I think it will be hard for the jury to come to a decision, considering MJ's been slandered for years and years.

Guilty!

He rapes kids and he's ugly.
I hate him.

I've been following this trial not very closely at all, but my gut instinct is that he will be found not guilty. Even though the defense's trotting out of celebrities was patently absurd. Oh Look, character witnessess. Did they think that Jackson, if he did molest kids would go around telling everyone about it? I'm sure he was a nice person to meet at a party somewhere, but what he potentially did at home is a completely different matter altogether.

Haven't been bothered to follow the case but he's seriously messed up and should've been put away a long time ago. I would be more surprised if there was any evidence to suggest he didn't molest kids.

I don't think the prosecution got just beyond the reasonable doubt. He will be convicted of the giving alcohol to a minor. But the big charge, molesting a child < 14 y/o, I think he'll be acquitted. Shame too.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

One glance at his cadaverous face would be molestation enough for a lesser man... eh... kid.

I think he will be declared not guilty.

I don't think there was enough evidence presented to convict him of anything serious.

I personally think he is mostly likely guilty but will not be convicted. It's hard to tell, you know?

I loved old MJ. Seriously. He was the man back then.

Too bad he looks like a fruit now.

Convicted or not, there's no way he will be able to touch a kid now IMO. So same result, and not wasting our money putting him in jail?

Sadly, not Guilty just because he's famous and has alot of money.

Not trying to be racist, what happened to the black MJ? His songs were the shiznit (lol).

When this case FIRST started, I was pretty sure he was completelly innocent. MJ had a screwed up childhood, we know that much. It's believable to assume he really doesn't understand the cercomstances between adults and children, considering he was a teen idol and EVERYONE wanted to get into his pants. Perhaps he snuggled and cuddled and played with these kids, but I didn't honestly think he was guilty of MOLESTING them. Sleeping with kids isn't as creepy as everyone makes it seem, considering when I baby sit we all get into one bed and watch TV and end up falling asleep.

That was then.

NOW? After seeing all the evidence, like the fact that he's got porno magazines at neverland ranch? He doesn't LIVE there, why would he have porno at a kid's playhouse (And I believe it was in the children's guest room, not in his room. And it was in excessive ammounts, not just a monthly subscription, but like every magazine's monthly subscription from 3 or 4 years ago.) The fact that he didnt' have a couple kids in his bed, but upwards to 10? Eeeeh. I don't know, add all of this to the fact that he paid kids off before that are now testifying for no personal gain except vengance, and I trully think he's guilty.

He's guilty, but it won't be proven. He will get some charges, but not big ones.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I can't say I know enough to make a definite decision one way or the other, but I voted for "not guilty." I think there's still reasonable doubt in this case.

No way he will be able to touch another kid? You are way too optimistic. I think he's guilty as hell but will not be convicted. Society seems to hate child molestors with a passion, but it seems like no one really cares that much or thinks it's a big deal with MJ.
2005-06-10, 4:08 PM #21
Agreed. He settled a molestation lawsuit over ten years ago yet parents are still stupid enough to let their kids within 500 years of the guy.

I've followed this case VERY closely from the beginning. The prosecution has a very solid case. I think they will find him guilty on the molestation charges but not check the box that would mean mandatory jail time. I think MJ will get probation, community sevice, mandatory councelling and be forbidden to have any more contact with children.

On court tv today, they showed a couple of the hardcover books depicting naked, pre-teen boys that MJ had in his bedroom. Although the books are legal and not considered porn, if you saw how explicit they were, you'd have to question why a healthy 46 year old male would be interested in them. I'm 36 and have absolutely NO desire to see some little boys pee pee. It's just plain disturbing.

And in a case like this, I think the old addage, "Where theres smoke, theres fire." applies. How many accusers will it take before we say, "Enough is enough!"? I think this is the end of the line for MJ. He probably won't get as stiff a penelty as I'd like but I believe he will be found guilty.

On a lighter note, anyone else catch Triumph the comic insult dog on Conan last night? He was at the MJ trial picking on the MJ supporters. Classic!

No, the "where there's smoke there's fire" argument very rarely works for anything ever.

That Jackson has been accused so many times could just suggest that there are lots of people trying to make money off him. It's worked once already.

I'm personally split on this case.
I think he's guilty in that he HAS mollested kids, but I think in THIS case, he *may* be innocent. I really don't trust the accusers since they have a history of false charges against celebs.

He probably did do it. Some of these big named people coming to his defense like Jay Leno, Mcully Culken etc. seems kinda suspect to me. Why would he need this kind of support if he didnt do anything.....just seems a bit suspicious. Or maybe he does have allies......i dunno. Not that I care, but i'd like to see him get locked up.....just like Martha heheh:D
