Are any of you familiar with the Linspire OS? I need to know how to get it off a computer. Regular attempts at formatting have failed and I am sorely tempted to take a magnet to the hard drive.

I think he is trying to get M$...well, if he formatted the drive and tries installing windows, or something...it'll overwrite the bootsector.

Delete the partitions Linspire is on.

That will get rid of it.
