Got Milk?

I'm just curious to see the results of this poll...

So what type of milk do you drink? Tell me if I'm not representing your favorite, and I'll edit.

I fricken love skim milk! I'm drinking as i typ-oh Crap, that will be sticky. :(
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

All the milk at the stores tastes horrible, the place I work at (Wrights Farm) has milk fresh everyday, (you can watch them milk the cows) and it tastes like nothing you'll ever taste again. I'm going to say skim, but it isn't that watered down crappy tasting skim, it tastes like a nice smooth milk. I really can't explain it, because nothing else tastes like it. It rocks.
Think while it's still legal.

Wow, I can't believe I'm the only person who's voted Organic so far. :(

It's a little bit more expensive, but it tastes SO much better, and is probably much healthier for you as well.

Me = n00b. I LOOKED for that option, but couldn't find it.

And now I can't edit it to be like that. :/

You could try removing the poll and then adding a new one.

Oh, you can't remove the poll either. Create a new thread and then merge it with this one, maybe.

Horizon Organic products are as good for you as they are delicious because they're made from organic ingredients produced without the use of antibiotics, added growth hormones or dangerous pesticides.

That's why choosing Horizon Organic is a wholesome and nutritious way to help reduce your exposure to added chemicals.

I like organic milk, and I like skim, (and I love chocolate milk, which I haven't had in ages!) but my family gets skim milk, so I have to vote skim.
May the mass times acceleration be with you.

On a somewhat related note I read that soy products are actually quite harmful to your health. Apparently soy beans are extremely toxic, and must be subject to acid baths to extract the toxins, but not all of them get extracted. Soy is not the healthy, natural miracle food at all. The study said that babies who were fed with soy milk showed significant health problems compared to babies fed with cows milk.

For everyday cereal eating, I prefer 2% white. However, proper Earl Grey tea can only be made with whole milk.

First, I need proof/articles that says that. :)

Second, who feeds thier children Soy milk in the first place?

White 1%. The only good stuff for all occasions. Chocolate is good from time to time, but not all the time.

I'm with you, SAJN_Master. I don't drink milk a lot, but when I do I'd take fresh milk over store milk any day. My family has a milk cow, and it's like no milk that you can get in the stores. I hate to think what they do to store milk to make it taste like that. Probably water it down or something.

Yes, I've read that before, too. I'd take it with a grain of salt. I'm sure there are consequences for eating too much soy, but that's true with anything. The authors of those articles seem to be fervently anti-soy, for whatever reason. But it's possible to be vegan and not eat soy products. There's texturized vegetable protein (seitan), which when marinaded correctly, can taste like any kind of meat. There's also tempeh, and other non-tofu soy products, which are healthier than soy, according to the article. Why, last night, I had a tempeh reuben which was pretty good.

And the answer to the poll is soymilk, by the way.

Soy beans are subject to ACID BATHS to extract the edible part. That can't be good. And the tests are pretty damning. If a children drinking soy milk shows health problems, such as low white blood cells etc. compared to cow milk drinking kids, then that's pretty damning evidence. Apprently, babies fed exclusively with soy formula recieve 5 birth control pills worth of estrogen everyday from the milk.

Don't forget, soy is a huge cash cow. The industry doesn't want people knowing this kind of stuff,

Here's some stuff to read: http://creativehealth.netfirms.com/poison/soyindex.shtml
