Now, I am pretty sure this poll has been taken before years ago before my arrival, but I want to see people's current opinions. The purpose of this poll is to survey who likes the Light Side, or the Dark side, primarily on JK (thanks to the revival of the game with the dedicated server). So, post your opinions away on which side you PREFER (as we know, no side is stronger than the other).

I like the Light Side. Force Persuasion, healing, abosorbtion, all those goodies for Jedi Knight: DF2. In real life, I would prefer light side as well.

Remeber, if you like the dark side, it dosn't mean that you're evil -- it just means you eat babies.

in JA, I always fell to the dark side b/c I couldn't resist killing Rosh. He is sooooo annoying.

In JK, dark side.

In real life... Light side.. As long as I get a red saber. They just seem to have a richer glow than the lighter sabers.

Actually in JK multiplayer the Light Side is far stronger than the Dark Side.

Protection, they can't hurt you or pull a weapon from you (in this case you use the concussion rifle).

Pretty much the only thing the Dark Side could do to you is Force Choke you to keep you still and shoot you with a concussion rifle or strike you with a saber. In the former, simply Force Pull their weapon. In the later, simply Force Jump and blast them from above to break the choke.

The light side is more powerful in JK. Protection and blind are both highly underrated. Absorb and heal are blatantly overpowered.

meh in JK i always pefered Dark Side, Force Throw was uber useful.

But force lightning is rubbish, it runs out too quick.

I would have to say I am more of a defense player so if I ever use force(which is rarely) it is with Light.

Deadly sight rocks. Particularily in wide upen levels like Canyone Oasis or BGJ, which are the to most popular LEC levels anyway. But I usually prefer to play NF anyway. :|

i was like unbeatable with SBX mod on with dark force

force choke them, run around in circles around them while u force lightning and then saber throw a couple of times then when choke wears off i go in for the kill. worked 98% of the time

Okay, I have vague memories. But I remember in either JK, JO, or JA the ability to pick someone up with Force Grip and toss them off into lava or something. God that was so fun.

Anyway, I prefer dark side powers, though I don't exactly do evil things with them so it ends up hurting my force pool in KotOR.

I just like being offensive as opposed to defensive.

In JO/JA, always lightside. Absorb wins. In real life, one doesn't have force powers. If I would, though, darkside. Force lighting equals never having empty battery problems.

I remember reading one book were some guy convinced Lukek there was no dark or light side and got him to force lightining somebody.

It's not about the sides, it's about the use!

I'm both!
But I'd say I'd definately be a dark side type user, but would choose light side if I had a choice.

Light Side in everything these days. I'm too nice to strike down innocent civilians, no matter how annoying they are. That might change though. I just finished KoTOR (good game BTW) staying true to myself, but I'm seriously considering playing it through again on the Dark Side.

You want to get points, without giving your opponent points, so staying alive is needed. The best offense is a good defense.

I've always used Light, with Heal and Absorb at max. I'm an NF player. Absorb makes Dark Side force useless, making an FF game NF.

I believe, up to force level 6, you can actually choose from both sides. You could have Heal and Throw, for example.
