I don't feel like typing out a whole review, but needless to say this is one of best original games in a long time. The level designs and the orchestral, choral music are incredible. I'm not sure why people are complaining about its length, it took me 10 hours to beat it. Kratos is also a great character, he's brutal and kills without any emotions. I also rarely seen any characters that slays a sea monster and goes and have sex (it's a optional mini game, but you don't see anything).

I thought the game was fun, but there really isn't a lot to it. It's the kind of game you play once, have fun and then maybe come back to a year or two from now and that's pretty much that.

I was going to tell you what my problem with the length is, but then you said it yourself in the same sentance.
Apart from that, yeah its pretty cool.

A combination of both mini game and boss battle. When you weaken it enough, you engage in a mashing the circle button mini game.

You use the Chaos Blades to pull it down on top of a broken ship's mast, impaling it through the brain.

God of War is an absolutely amazing game and I can't more strongly recommend it to everybody.

Does that include non PS2 users?

Yes.

PC gamers spend thousands and thousands of dollars on new computer hardware. I think it's absurd that they balk at the purchase of a console, especially when they're all as cheap as they are now.

So, yes, I do recommend God of War to people who don't own a PS2. If you didn't buy one for Final Fantasy you should buy one for this. And get all of the other awesome games while you're at it.

God of War is an Absolutely Fantastic game. One of the best in the year so far.
