Guy blowtorches the NOS bottles on his Civic, as soon as he takes off, they explode under the hood.

Warning: Language.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

Can I just clarify..is this something that actually is rumored to work or did he just randomly think "Hey, I know, i'll put a blow torch to some bottles of extremely flammable substance because I reckon that it'll make them work better!"

If I had my way.. alot more of these cars would spontaneously combust, and not hurt anyone.

I only want people that suck to get hurt.

Unfortunately, these kids not only hurt themselves, but they hurt and endanger many innocent people as well.

First off, nitrous is not flammable by itself. Heating the bottle with a torch is a fairly common practice if you don't have a bottle heater. Hotter bottle = more bottle pressure.

Secondly, that fire was a result of a nitrous backfire. It had NOTHING to do with the fact that he was using a torch to heat the bottle.

Then we must find a way to market NOS that will not only explode, but vaporize their cars, leaving the highways safe. :D

It was okay, but I didn't find it too funny. Oh, and there should probably be a language warning on there.

Well then he needs to learn to how to properly install his NOS. Oh wait, NOS is the most commonly dangerous stuff. NOS tanks are known to cause more problems than any other nitrious, and odds are this is not the first time he used NOS on his car. Just this time it didn't work.

It's Nitrous Oxide, not NOS.. NOS is a Brand. And Nitrous Oxide is not flammable as stated above.

Love how they kept opening the hood and it would still be on fire.

WRONG!

Partially.

Nitrous oxide by itself is non-flammable. However, the oxygen present in nitrous oxide causes combustion of fuel to take place more rapidly.

Wanting people that suck to get seriously injured is politically correct?

Eh, they commonly gas weld leaking gas tanks when they're full. You fill it up, which makes the leak easy to see, and then you weld it shut. The gas just burns off. No boom. Also, shooting gas tanks doesn't make them explode either.

Yeah, and as previously stated nitrous oxide isn't combustible without additional oxygen. What he was doing with the blowtorch was fine, and obviously the pressure in the bottles wasn't too high or else they would have exploded violently, killing all passerby with flaming shrapnel.

And, secondly, nitrous oxide is an extremely inefficient fuel. I don't quite remember offhand but it's something between 1/8th to 1/12th as efficient as regular gasoline. It simply requires less oxygen to burn, so you can burn more of it faster. I'd sooner have a Civic with a supercharger than a Civic with nitrous.
