I made my own, which made a ton of slow moving conc shots fire out, which split into more, and more, and more.

God those were fun times.

If you can't enjoy the game in it's original state, don't play it.
Quit trying to justify an unfair advantage over another player by saying "Well oh the game isn't fun anyways so I just do it for fun" Well boo ****ing hoo. Don't play the game.

Bowcaster or Repeater > Conc Rifle.

A smart person won't use a conc rifle up close.

A smart person will use a charged caster, or spam alt fire + Primary fire up close.

The Concussion Rifle is far superior to all the other weapons.

Raildet is nice too except it's velocity is too slow to be used in real open spaces.

I played the game from the day it was released almost untill a couple of years ago, and after years of playing, I can safely say JK's gameplay WAS NOT BALANCED, and that it was stale.

CTF isn't complex. It's killing with a flag. Biig whoop.

TFC does a much better job at that.

And even then, I have yet to find a multiplayer game with as much strategy and skill involved as Science And Industry.

I dunno... I never had a problem in FF guns games against concussion rifle users. Speed to dodge their blasts, and catch up, spam alt and primary fire of repeater and if done right and fast, does a TON of damage.

I still like Bowcaster the most. Meet somebody at a corner, using a conc is suicide. A fully charged bowcaster is a one hit kill. (Not good if they have a saber up.)

a lot of people just downloaded their hacks from websites, generally i would refer to them as "users" not even hackers. hacking was really fun if it was in a game set up specifically(?) for hacking, otherwise it was kind of bothersome, especially the fade, antifade, antiantifade and so on. i think my personal favorite hacks came from a guy called "trippin billy" he amde this one called "trip town" that would change every texture in the level to a random one. i think the best one i ever managed was a derivitive of force throw, where i switched from throwing debris at players to throwing the players themselves, that was lots of fun on levels like vally of the jedi tower.... whew... anyways dont hack its bad...

The only hacking games (I consider) were fun were the BUILD hacks, those were pretty sweet, but anything giving another player unfair advantage, or harassment to other players I think is just a crock of ****.

I could only ever make cogs that rained crap all over, or changed damage and projectiles.

using the conc in close quarters is hardly suicide. anyone who knows what their doing can kill a saberist with a conc easily

I always had my copy gun and target delete gun. Sometimes I'd have those morphing fists from that one level... You know the one that COMES with a fly cog and a morph cog. (Some space ship level)

If I was really evil, I used Junkguy's one that sent a spray of thermal detonators out of the tail of a rail detonator. It was always interesting seeing the reaction of somebody with one of those clipped to their head.

You've just proven to me that you know very little regarding the intricacies of this game.
