Realistic paintball guns
2004-05-12, 1:42 PM #1
I'm looking for realistic looking paintball guns. This is the best I've found.
http://coolgadget.net/sp50calpashc.html

That seems fine, and I'll get that if I can't find anything else. What I'd really like though, is a revolver. Does anyone know where I could find any realistic looking paintball guns?

Maybe you should just get into airsoft instead. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

{I should note that I would like to turn that "gun" into a paintball gun...if I can get hands on such a model...anyone might know where?}

Try anything made by Tippman, You can get the gun and all the upgrades for around $300 dollars. And I wouldn't buy that shotgun, considering its .50 cal and most all other guns are .68 cal. It'll be tuff to buy more paint becouse your local paintshop won't carry em.

Gandalf, i'm getting a really big, red, blinking 'ACCESS DENIED' image there.

[edit] well, in that case, i heartily agree

A mod kit for a Tippmann A5 can allow it to look like an M4, shown above. This is my friend's marker -- its got an E Frame on it too which is great because with the recoil of the marker, you can pretty much just lightly press the trigger and it'll go auto.

Not realistic looking, but its one of my few markers, 2004 Vert Feed Autococker. Picture one is completely stock setup, the 2nd is with the new 18 inch Smart Parts Big Daddy on there. OHhhhhhhhh baby. I can't wait to go play this weekend.

Oh and Duke is right, the .50 cal paint will prove difficult to find.

I'm sure I can special order ammo.

My only requirements for a paintball gun are that it looks realistic, and that it shoots. Any fool can fire one of those fancy automatics. This gun takes skill. Performance may be low, but it sure does look a lot nicer than any other paintball gun I've seen.

Special Ordering paint will get very pricey.... I'd stick with something that shoots .68 cal paint...

Try www.armotech.com I have one of their old Zeus pistols, great sidearm.

I should also note my lack of a job, so I'm liking the shotgun's price.

Unfortunately those are made of cheap plastic, are only semi-auto, and aren't very powerful. Unless you're talking about spring sniper rifles, but those are even more expensive than AEGs, ranging from 500$ to 1000$.

Negative. Look up the Deagle, and USP models. Pure metal, all real, and oh-so-sexy.

Armotech makes a very solid marker. Their old series of Speedball markers were well made, and they're now releasing more. Their current line of markers is geared towards Military Simulations, and shipping to other countries (Like Canada) can prove difficult, but nonetheless they are great markers.

......where? I've never heard of -anyone- putting so much care into a springer as to make it pure metal. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/confused.gif]

Heck, they don't even make all metal gas pistols unless they're -really- special.

I'd like opinions on this gun (keep in mind that I'm on a low budget): http://www.hobbytron.net/Airsoft-NT-UA936B.html

Also, it says "Caliber: 6mm BB (0.12g) Metallic/ABS/Paintball". Does that mean it can fire paintballs?

It even says it on the site, it's a BB gun.

I know it's a BB gun. Why does that say paintball then?

Neither have I. Regardless, the fact that it's a springer and it's short barreled mean it's still grossly innacurate and has a short range. In airsoft, handguns are really just for show.
