New ISB story
2005-06-16, 7:13 AM #1
On random occassions, I change the featured story linked in my signature, and hopefully, people have been checking them out.

In any case, I felt the urge to go an extra step and make a thread about the one I'm advertising now. Created and carried by The Last True Evil, "Rough Sketches of a Happy Ending" takes interactive story writing on Massassi's ISB in an uncommon direction, intending to create more real/surreal types of relationship-based stories rather than the sci-fi/fantasy stories that often focus on physical fights. The direction is best understood by reading what TLTE has already posted, so go check it out!

To make this thread a little more reply-friendly, I would be very happy if you all would post what sort of stories you'd like to write and/or read on the ISB. Thanks!

For the record, I know you guys think that writing Internet stories on a gaming website is like inventing a new sub-category of loser to put yourself in, but...er...you're wrong. I think.

*smacks forehead*

I seriously think it's cool to be able to write a story with other people, twisting the plot in ways you couldn't have thought of. I don't participate in the ISB, but I don't see how that would make me a loser if I did.

Yes... we should... >.>

I'm still amazed how the entire thing kinda spawned just because I walked in and shot the place up like Neo. XD

It better be...
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

I think there may be some misunderstanding on TLTE's comment. He was simply encouraging people to visit the ISB, as he knows the ISB is not the most popular/active of boards, is all.

so it's like a collection of short stories, right? sounds good, especially with me now trying to set myself a goal to write everyday, write good or bad - but everyday. i like how TLTE's pieces are titled by musical influences, too. i'll probably continue the, ehm, notion.

That's exactly what it is, Koobie. It was a concerted effort from me to write regular, brief and random ideas, and in a style of my choosing, with my musical references. But then I suppose many writers could use the same concept...
