That was quite cool, in an artsy sort of way, but why were all of their laser blasts green when they should have been red?

Stormtrooper shots are red, too. Every shot is red, except for the TIE shots.

I know it's a classic, and I generally love classics, but I have to agree with Brian on this one - that movie honestly sent me to sleep.

On the contrary, Bowcasters shoot green power energy cells. Now usually I can give a very geeky description/explaination why, but I really don't...out of all things Star Wars I have studied, I have never determind why the shots on a TIE Fighter are green, Stormtrooper Carbines red, Republic Blasters red, FWG5 Pistols white, E11 Carbines yellow, and X-wing/republic ships red, Death Star's green, and the Tusken Rifles have no color.

Because it's fiction and it looks cooler having two laser colors in a battle then having just one color.

except in the movies, republic blasters shoot blue, e11s shoot red, chewie's bowcaster shoots red, and the tusken rifles shoot a yellowish orange...

methinks you're getting too much of your info from SWG

I saw this recently and was thoroughly underwhelmed. Brilliantly filmed (especially for its time), but incredibly dull and random.
