This is probably old news, but... Something to do when you are bored. Post your high score (kills, level).

I found using the shotgun actually made it more difficult.

Yeah, I just couldn't figure out how to use the shotgun. I remember reading somewhere how to, but I forgot. :o

Press shift to change weapons. And you don't want to use it. reloading takes too long.

Reloading is a pain, but it's good to quickly switch to after you've just expended you revolver and you a being swarmed.

Stage 9 (might have been 10)
98 kills
I went to reload my shotgun and didn't reload the revolver before doing so. Had 6 zombies coming on me when I finished reloading the shotgun -- instapwn :(

DARN, I ALMOST BEAT IT!!!

My second game was much better, I really improved my strategy: Stage 17, 230 Kills.

Here are a few hints (for anyone that cares) which helped me:
- Constantly unload the revolver, really quickly (but make sure you're accurate): the faster you shoot, the faster they die, the sooner you reload
- Try to shoot zombies coming out of the ground as soon as possible because they're an insta kill if they're not walking yet - this will save you time and ammo farther down the road
- this kinda ties into #1, but if you are left standing with no zombies around for a few seconds, and you have 3 or less bullets left in the revolver, unload your rounds so that you can start fresh with 6 in preparation for the next wave of zombies
- although my first instinct was to shoot for the head, it's really best to go for the legs - it will slow the zombies down tremendously if you take them out at the legs, causing them either to stutter or fall over - this is a big timesaver when you get 5-10 zombies coming at you.
- Use the shotgun as a last resort weapon against a crowd of zombies if you think you're nearing death - otherwise stick with the revolver

stage 9, 87 kills

Gonna work on this a bit.

Gotta remember not to switch to the shotgun if they're too close. And I only had one shell loaded, so the first one missed and then I was pretty much screwed. Fun though.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

[also, in case anyone hasn't realized this, if you shoot the zombie while it's still getting up it seems to die in one hit. Makes it a lot easier.]
stage 11, 118 kills

Yeah, I found it funny that the shotgun is terribly ineffective at short range (well, at any rate, the reload time is horrible)...

Edit: Oh, and if you do manage to beat my score, post a screenie.

QUESTION. Has anyone found out what the story means by "weak spots on lesser zombies"? I have noticed that you can blow off their heads and arms, but they keep walking towards you anyway. Is it better to aim for their head or just shoot them repeatedly in the chest?

I found out how to kill the weaker zombies in 2 shots instead of 3. Aim for the feet, then shoot them before they get back up. When they're rising from the ground, it's instakill, even if they're there because you put them there.
