So desperate they are making articles on the lifestyle of Saddam Hussein by interviewing the guards.

Before, and I know this WILL TURN INTO IT, I want you to avoid the "OMG liek Saddam said that Bush will never find teh weapons because he liek said there are none and Bush knows!!!11!"

Shut up.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

I wish the government paid for my family-sized bags of Doritos.

I don't know who to trust now. The government officials who say hes a bad bad man or his guards who say he's a cool guy?
Think while it's still legal.

you know, he's either very clever or plain mad.

Or we could all be trusting the government a bit too much to tell us the truth and we end up believing everything they say.

Despite all the monster propoganda, they are still human. Even Hitler was human. Just because the guy is all nice and whatnot to people who are impressionable, doesn't mean it's reason to question his "evil."

Saddam IS a thinker, he knows that taking on a nicer persona will create question on if he is truly as bad as we're to believe. This is especially powerful when you figure the media eats that up. To them, nobody can be nice but still guilty, they have to be misunderstood and this in turn leads the rest of society to think like that.

The innocent old man role may make someone reevaluate him in their mind, but he obviously knows what he's doing. Especially when you consider he never brings up his past doings.

If something like this makes you not know who to trust, then you really need to read past the propaganda.

Amen. Do you know how many serial killers seem like extremely nice, personable people? It's a common trait of being a psychopath.

I still think he sounds like a nice guy.
nope.

He might have some agreeable personality traits, but just because he was friendly to some American guards doesn't mean he wouldn't turn around and order chemical weapon attacks on civilians.

Who were you expecting, Dr. Demento?

I read about it in my local newspaper. Very interesting. He likes Doritos.
2005-06-21, 10:23 AM #18
i like doritos, but no one is writing articles about me saying it.
Laughing at my spelling herts my feelings. Well laughing is fine actully, but posting about it is not.

I guess they were caught off guard when he said he likes to dip them in water and not the blood of his enemies.

I can't think of anything to put here right now.

well, I can eat a half kilo cheese block in one sitting without getting sick. but I do get ery full.

And, doesn't the guy like the movie enemy of the state? Remember, evn though he might do evil things (or so we have been told from our POV, and also, the U.S. provided him with some of his weapons.) doesn't mean that he is evil in his personal life.

Also, about the weapons of mass distruction, why he doesn't say something like, even if I did have WMD, I would nottell you where they are as you have a lot of your own and you might take them for yourself if I tell you where they are.

Because that would be self-incriminating. He's trying to keep all the concentration on Bush.

Sociopaths behave in a friendly manner because they know it will benefit them to be trusted more. Large corportations also do this using advertisements designed to give the corporation a friendly, family image.

Friendly behaviour isn't necessarily feigned if a person happens to have some questionable values. A person can be friendly and morally misguided, just as someone can be a jerk but with good values.

Isn't Bush's charisma just as questionable? :P

Also, Froot Loops are indeed disgusting.
I'm just a little boy.

I watched 3 seperate documentaries about his life, and the Iraq war. He may not be EEEEVIILLLL but he's got something messed up in his mind.

He doesn't seem like the typical insane dictator, but he is most definately insane. Especially if he thinks he is still president of Iraq.

Well he's not gonna sit off in the back of his cell with a dark look in his eyes, tenting his fingers and cackling every so often.

"What are we going to do tonight brain?"

"Same thing we do every night, take over the world!"
