I can't imagine someone biting you hard on the finger is more disturbing than the eye thing... But then again, if you've seen a movie zombie, you've seen maggots eating away one's eyeball.:rolleyes:

We can discuss sexual things, but not in a pornographic way. In fact it's been done many times before (though admittedly I haven't seen it done lately).

That's most likely a worble, which would mean that a tsetse fly (or something similar) laid an egg on the skin around the eye. The egg then penetrates the skin and the worble begins to grow inside, until it gets large enough to burst itself out. This is most likely just a procedure to remove the worble before it removes itself. This type of thing is quite common in Africa and South America.
