My third year Univeristy exams start in 5 days, and today I just can't seem to settle down to revision - I'm just messing around with my laptop - I've been solving niggling problems, but effectively just wasting time. Which begs the question, what do you guys/gals do to (A) waste time, and (B) any clues on how to get my concentration back?

Meh.

A) Play Mini Golf at MiniClip or read over the posts here.
B) I unplug my computer and my Gamecube and take the batteries out of my Gameboy. No more distractions.

I need the music coming out of my pc or I go stir crazy, and the CD player on my wee midi-system is knackered - it's effectively an expensive set of speakers until i can go home and get it fixed!!

I need mittens or something to keep my fingers from my keyboard...

/aware of how dodgy that sounds - but hope you get the idea [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

Is revision a crazy brit term for "studying?" I never really understood what it meant.

Just think about how much university is costing you. Dunno what it's like over there, but I was paying around $1500 per subject per semester. So every subject I failed, that'd be another one and a half grand on my bill to pay back to government.

Just think about the money you're wasting and not gonna have later in life by not studying and failing a subject, that always got me going [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Erm i guess it is, but its slightly different. Studying is generally learning stuff. Revision is going over stuff which you learnt before. (however if you never learnt it in the first place then it doesn't help [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif])

Music. It helps for wasting time, or concentrating.
