Ok the title was an overreaction...

Somone was doing a TC for JO to convert (or recreate) all the originial JK levels for JO, which is a DANG FINE IDEA. I last saw something about it about a year ago but lost touch with civilisation for several months - does anyone know where it is and how its going? Personally I found the JK levels far more replayable than those with JO, despite the superior sabre fighting etc.

Any help appreciated.

No clues about the TC you're after, but the religion forum got the chop ages ago. Was taking up valuable space

TCs seem always like a good idea. But making JK levels in JO seems like an easy idea but isn't at all. Many editors don't want to face the troubles of proportions, textures and so on.

I agree, a lot of werk, but the TC i was thinking of already had a large chunk done, with and without textures, judging by the screenshots - just hoping they kept up with it.

If not, i understand of course, it IS a lot of werk!!!

Besides, how would one convert the extensive swimming portions in JK?

I think the TC died out. I havent heard anything about it in over a year.

The Dark Forces TC for JA, on the other hand, is still going strong. They should be releasing the second demo (the first three levels) fairly soon.
