It's amazing how many dead bugs you find when you're looking for them. Sucks that it's raining so all of the living ones are hiding.

My friend is letting me borrow a macro lens. It's really fun taking pictures like that.

Looks yummy. However, if you want some REALLY close up dead bug action, stick one on your scanner, set it to scan at its highest resolution...

Why is it called macro capabilities?

Surely if it can take detailed pictures of very small things, it'd be micro capabilities
(and if it could take pictures of very big things, then it'd be macro..)

Very nice shots. Did you kill them just to get the pictures, or were they already dead? Not that I'd be interested in preserving some bug's life, but just out of curiosity. They seem to be in quite a good condition, except the middle one which looks like it has been dead for half a year.

Maybe it's called macro because it makes small things look large. *shrug*

They were just some random bugs that were already dead that I found lying around.
