I'm probably buying a 6800GT soon.

My Radeon 9700 is still serving me well...but it seems I can't overclock the core to 100 MHz anymore without minor artifacts. The GPU barely gets warm with a cut down Athlon heatsink on it...I might try volt modding...

Oh, and I recently purchased an E-MU 1212m soundcard and am in the process of building a Millet-Hybrid headphone amplifier.

Bummer... My 9800 Pro, can do 445/365 on its stock cooler. This is only with the case open though, and when its cool in the house. Other then that, with games that aren't picky about OCs (D3, SCCT) I usually run her at 435/355. Stock is 380/340. Not bad, just need to up my CPU speed a bit to let the GPU stretch its legs some more at this speed though.

I have a softmodded 9800se. I'd buy a new one, but I think I'll just buy a new motherboard and stuff first.

I also need to purchase a Benchmark DAC1, if I can find it cheap.

*gets a hold on myself* sorry... can't stop myself from the occasional outburst. But anyway, I am buying a new computer case to begin my computer building journey. Today. I hope. http://www.cmicomputer.com/default.htm Its the silver BMW case. I thought it was the best looking case (a little on the pricy side for a case, but hey, I don't want some extreme gaming machine with LEDs everywhere and a glass panel with strange pictures on it, though glass sides are quite cool).

Just got a 6600GT myself a little over a month back. Works great. I can run Half Life 2 on pretty high detail with no noticable slowdown. And I got an average of 92 FPS in the CS:S video stress test. So it works great for me. :)
