WHEN I GRADUATED!!
I am now officially a MASTER OF ENGINEERING! A grown up you may even say... Well, maybe. Actually no.
Anyways, the graduation ceremony was pretty dull (I sat through it 3 times in all) but Bill's speech was funny all three times, even though it never changed. I also got to wear a gown with sexy hood that showed I got a MEng as opposed to a BA or BSc or whatever (Mine was black silk with a scarlet inside and palatinate purple trim).
I start my job on Monday (so no summer hols for me), where I will be designing a hospital (as far as I understand) - the South side anyway. Today I have fondled a powerbook 12" which I shall buy in 2 months, I have gloated to my bint of an ex-boss, done a reccy run to my office and have watched an awesome match of Rugby.
Tomorrow I will buy a plethora of work shirts, a new pair of shoes (because the ones I wore to graduation were killing me by the end of thursday) and finish unpacking my room.
You may shower me with love now, because I won't be able to come here as often as I would like now I have a proper job
. I even start work at the ungodly hour of 0815, what kind of time is that for someone who was wasted all last week celebrating the end of studentdom I ask you?!
Anyways, I'll say a kind of semi goodbye to you all, as I know I'll be around, but not nearly as much as before.
