Would not make a good video game movie. Vin Diesel is bald, but does not make a good actor for a Hitman movie. I think this sucks, and they shouldn't just pull a Tomb Raider (which sucked) to get money and drive this great game into the ground. http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/06/15/news_6127535.html

There's got to be better actors then this that could pull off Hitman. And the movie itself I doubt could even work that well. Good thing Blood Money's set to ship this fall.

How well do you think the movie could work well with the games at all? What about better actors?

Vin Diesel would be terrible for the role. Totally out of character for him. In a movie like Hitman you need a noname yet good actor.

Jason Statham would actually do well in the role, I think. He may not look exactly like the guy, but I think he could pull it off.

Exactly what I've been saying. Plus, I think Diesel is a tad too bulky to play 47. Unfortunately, our opinions don't mean **** to Eidos and Fox, who are so confidant of his ability to play 47 that they plan to insert Diesel's likeness and voice into the next Hitman game (next as in after Blood Money) which they plan on shipping alongside the movie. So basically our only hope is that IO will actually listen to their fans and at least attempt to fight this.

Wait wait wait...wtf??? They're replacing whoever is the kickass actor who voices 47 with.....****ing vin diesel??? that game is gonna blow soo hard. What makes hitman soo great is 47, his voice, his personality. The voice actor for 47 should stay, just because hes so good.

...no. Vin Diesel will be playing 47 in the movie, not voicing the game.

Personally, I can't wait to see it.

Maaaan, whats that movie called with the guy who drives around picking up people for money. One scene he opens the package, which was a rule he said he would never do.

HE should play 47, IMO.

I think Diesel can pull it off, but Statham would definitely be better for this role.

1.) Vin Diesal can't act. He sucks, and that is a fact.

2.) He makes anything he acts in seem stupid and hollywoodish.

3.) He totally does not suit the role, AT ALL. They need someone who appears more serious. Vin Diesel is just a joke. It seems like the only reason he was picked is because hes a big movie star, and he's bald.

Everyone seems to hate him, except for me, so I find it hard to believe that he could be considered a big movie star. People hated Fast and the Furious, so they say he sucks. He was good in Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick, and he did alright in Knockaround Guys. He's not terrible, but he has been in some terrible movies. I think he has potential.

He IS a big movie star because there are many people like you that think he's good. The problem is that your wrong. He sucks.

He was in Saving Private Ryan. He's okay in my book, he just takes bad movies. Like Jack Black. He's been in so many horrible comedy movies, but just now Peter Jackson says he's going an amazingly good serious role in King Kong.

Read the article. And I have nothing against Vin Diesel, I just think there are better choices for 47. Like Jason Statham.

Yes.. he is. Just not for Blood Money. That's why I like how it's due out this fall. I'm guessing they may even go as far to do what EA did to Bond and copy the actor's face and things of that nature once Vin Diesel's studio gets the rights to the game.

That's what I've always thought. He did a pretty good job in A Man Apart as well.

EXACTLY.

Anyone who hates Vin Diesel hates him because it's 'cool' to do so. Seriously, the man can ACT, he has a lot of talent, but he stars in some crappy movies. Some really... really... really... crappy mo- really crappy. Movies. Yeah. But he's really quite a great actor.

Either way, he's definitely just not the guy for the part. But he may pull it off. I still think Jason Statham could do it. :\

XXX and A Man Apart weren't great. Don't know about the Pacifier. The Fast and the Furious is pretty dumb but he's probably the only decent thing in it. That and the bad *** muscle car that gets wrecked at the end. The rest of his films (that I remember off the top of my head) are quite enjoyable.
