Oh come on... they can't pick a new villain?

THeres still one they never got to that I saw in an old batman cartoon... the mud guy.

Why not? A guy who controls mud. covered in mud, mudding people to death...

It could be a good cinema movie...

*cough*

I'm in the mood to ruin a joke article. Yes, the article is a joke, the Joker is the new villan. Pun intended, but only because I realized it was a pun after I typed it.

I thought it was pretty obvious who the next major batman villain would be, after all how many villains leave a distinct calling card (*cough*ref: begins' ending*cough*)?

You mean Clayface. Yeah I'd like to see a movie version of clayface too.

If two-face does make an appearence, I hope they do something along the lines of the BTAS' Second Chance. Probably my favourite episode.

Wasn't it supposed to be the Joker, as seen in the end of the Batman Begins Movie?

Clayface ruled. When batman kicked off his head, he grew a new one! Simply unbelievable. I like when Batman finally defeated him...

?

The first 1 had one villain. Just Batman.
The second had 2 if you include walken. They brought in Catwoman.
The third had 2. Time for Robin.
The fourth had 3. Time for "Bat girl" [ewww].
nope.

I thought Catwoman was a villainous hero in Batman Returns.

I'm all for Crispin Glover as the Joker if they continue to make the Batman films like Begins. Hamill is perfect for the Joker voice-wise, but he'd only work in the movie if it were an overstylized Batman movie, like the previous franchise.

Well from what I hear the Joker is the main villain in this movie, and the main story focus is Batman catching him. After he catches him Harvey Dent is prosecuting in a court case against the Joker and at some point during the case, gets sprayed with acid by the Joker. Thus, Two-Face is born and will probably flow into the third film. I think they'll also probably bring the Scarecrow back for the second or third, because villains shouldn't be left open like they were in Begins unless they're brought back for a future film.

As long as the next movie doesn't start the sucking again.
Also, I hope they don't call it 'Batman Begins 2'. That REALLY sounds screwed up.

I think Christopher Walken should be the villain in at least one of the upcoming films. As Zorin in A View to a Kill, HE P-W=N=E-D.

Dammit. I was hoping they would bring in Rupert Thorne like they did in BTAS, and have two-face created as a result of thorne's actions. In BTAS, Thorne blackmails Dent, and dent goes to a factory to negotiate with thorne, and Dent gets his face ruined when he's caught in an explosion at the factory. It's a much better story.

personally id like to see bane get redeemed, because he is my favorite batman villan and the other movies just completely destroyed his caracter.

I think he should throw Michelle Pfeifer out of a window.

Personally, I'd like to see them use SOME DIFFERENT FREAKIN' VILLIANS! It's not like there's a shortage. Okay, fine, I can live with the Joker even though that's the one villian that deserves to be redone the least. They nailed him in the first film. Still, since they've decided to rewrite the whole thing, fine. But no Two Face. Not yet. Flesh out the Dent character first. That will make Two Face a more tragic and poignant character. Maybe a legitimate Catwoman instead of the Pfiefer or Berry crud we've been subjected to. No freakin' Penguin. No absurd Riddler. Save those for the next time they rewrite the franchise. Hell, I'd rather see the Predator as a villian. The comics were good. Bane. They can redo Bane. He broke the Bat, afterall. That's it. I've settled it. Third movie will feature Bane.

Why does everyone think Mark Hammill would make a good Joker? Personally I think he is an awful actor.
2005-07-06, 12:34 PM #24
clayman hasn't been used, neither has that really large creepy flying rat thing from BTAS called the the manbat, the ventriliquist, the mad hatter, killer croc, or Ra's Al Ghul. There are still plently more villains for batman to fight, i hope they use them all, though it seems evident that the joker will be in the next one

Yeah, but why should sleeping with the cast of a previous series get him in this one? :p

From the grapevine I heard that the casting of Bale had a lot to do with the Internet response to the rumor that he was in the running. Right now buzz is over Glover and Hammill.
