I have never heard of anyone getting a MIP or MIC, with having no alcohol on them and actting completely sober. It is ridiculous. This guy was looking for something, and picked on some kid walking by himself at 3:30 in the morning. It is ridiculous. Sure he broke the law, but this cop GOT lucky finding him, cause he had no reasonable cause.

I haven't read the entire thread but if this hasn't already been said

there is an outstanding curfew law that minors can't be out alone in a public place without an adult past 11 PM. It's close to NEVER enforced but it is there to give cops an excuse to stop you in cases like this (when they "suspect") something.

States have their own curfew laws which may override the US one (it permits states to override it with their own) but generally the law is anytime between 10-12

But the officer wouldnt know that unless he stopped and asked for ID.
