So who's been running Homebrew?
2005-07-12, 10:21 PM #1
I've been playing around alot with the stuff coming out for PSPs lately over at pspupdates. I have an NES emulator, an older SNES emulator (have they managed to get it running full speed yet?) and I've seen that they've got VNC running on it now. It's crazy how fast people are developing the stuff.

Anyways, this has nothing to do with piracy or anything illegal.

Last I heard, Homebrew only works on PSPs that haven't updated beyond 1.5. Has this changed? I hadn't heard of it until after I updated to 1.51, and you can't revert back.

Yeah, they're working on getting a way to downgrade though. I'm still running 1.50.

Yeah I have been keeping up with the homebrew community, and I have been participating with PSPUpdates in their main news section and through the forums.

They have TONS of stuff there, and they are working on porting Firefox, Divx player (it already plays OGG, which is sweet), and more.

The status of SNES9X "y" edition is kinda weird. There have been some speed improvements, but most of it was compatibility and usability. (Like gamesaves can be used on the PC version now) Supposedly Street Fighter 2 runs at full speed now, though.
