After a period of access to Macromedia Flash and Photo Shop, a new pope, and way to much time on my hands, we all new it would come down to this......

(make sure your volume is turned up)

Click here to view Flash animation

Just follow the dowload buttons (may take a 1 or 2 pages).

The flash tutorial is even more complicated than this. Sorry but 4 thumbs down. The file could easily be a lot lot lot smaller. I made a 3 min or so flash animation once and it was like 700k (music, sounds, animation), so 2 megs is insane for a 1 second loop.
Think while it's still legal.

What you basically did was use flash to make an animated gif. It's only 2 or 3 frames. Then you added an entire song to it without compressing it at all.

Hey, but I still get funny points. Don't judge the file itself, but the context/content.

You don't get funny points you get sucky points.

The joke was worn out in April when he became pope. So many people have made pictures comparing palpatine and the pope it isn't even funny.

Not really, you don't get "funny points" because you say so. Mostly because nobody really cares about "funny points."

Yes, the context is funny in itself, but you can't take credit for it because you didn't make the context.

Mind you I haven't even watched what you made, nor do I plan to, but if people don't like it, you're not adding much by saying stuff like "I still get funny points."

Wow I felt the burn.....LOL, you guys take a lot this stuff seriously don't you? Ah the good old days, when you could just post and get a quick laugh. Oh well, at least it got views.

I did this this JPEG in Photo Shop, hope it's better than the Flash animation, was going to post it like months ago when this happened, but my registration got lost in the admin's bulk mail (empathetic due to the fact, it's happened to me before. Hope you like the JPEG, thanks guys!

Edit: On an unrelated note, I rather like this "sendmefile" thing.

We are only being this cruel so you put some effort into it next time. You won't get any better if we all say "LOL THAT WAS WICKED AWESOME!"

I would recommend better content

Comparing the Pope to <insert real or ficticious villian> has been beaten to death thrice fold.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I wasn't flaming you, I was explaining it to you. The downside of text is it can be taken so many ways.

No, for my account to be approved he has to approve it. It got lost in his bulk mail. If you notice my title, I didn't put it there he did (and I think it's hilarious, LOL!!! Thanks admin!) I own my own message board, and I have forgotten or approve requests have been automaticaly displaced, leaving my unable to approve them.
