Anyone know how to make your own Internet TV server and display it over winamp so others can watch?

And since when have people been able to broadcast TV over Winamp? I'd also like to know how to do this. For, erm, "personal" reasons, of course.

I dunno. I used to use shoutbox for radio, but I dunno about the video side of things.

your audience had better have broadband or it will be practically unwatchable, kind of like realplayer on 56k, but much worse.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

And unless you have a very nice upload speed you won't be able to handle many users.

Such as my 256k upload on my dsl would only host 4 64k connections. Not good. And thats assuming I'm actually getting 256k, it's probably more like 224k, in which case I could only handle 3 users, and do not much else.

Basicly unless you have a T1 you'd be better off not messing with it.

Tech TV (The Screensavers or Call For Help probably) had abit on a program that would allow you to stream your DVDs over a network. It also seems to me that there were options to stream other video sources. Now that I have a slight desire to do so I searched for it on their site and came up with nil. They also said it would work over the internet dependent upon bandwith.

I don't know how on Winamp--cruise the forums. Also, what's the quality of your movies, and your upload? In kilbits per second please.
