You may not see me around much longer...

As the name of the topic says, I may not be around on Massassi much longer. I just found out my dad lost his job, which was our main source of income, so I may not have internet much longer. Or power or the house for that matter. Anyway I don't know when that may happen, and it'll probably catch us by surprise, so I just wanted to let everyone know, not that I'm a super important member of Massassi anyway.

Words of encouragment/booze are welcome.

I used to believe that we must fight the future, lest change come without our consent. I was wrong. The truth is that we must embrace the future, for only with change can we remain the same.

In a way to cheer you up, it looks like you ironicly proved your name wrong. There IS an escape!

But in all seriousness, I hope things work out well.

GOOD LUCK WITH LIFE, THEN!
Losing the internet is sometimes a good thing. I met the best people I've ever met, and may ever meet, because I lost my 'net and had to be "social"

Then they ditched me at the zoo, lol

Hopefully you're not mentally dependent on the internet (and massassi for that matter) like I am [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif].

Anyways, good luck; maybe you won't have to leave in the end.

Indeed.

Hey, my mom's been without work for over half of the last year, and still I've managed to keep my DSL connection. You just have to make a few sacrifices with things that are less important... like food! Who needs food? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

Yikes. That's not good. I just went through that myself.
Good luck. I hope things turn out OK.

I'd kill for my love of Halo. However, instead, i will use my love of the game to kill to get NoESC's Net Connection back.

Oh yes. Oh yes I will.

Well I have some somewhat good news. My mom says we need to keep the DSL so she can still connect to work. We should be able to keep it for the next 2 months or so, and hopefully by then my dad will have found another job.
