I admit it. I'm lazy. I don't want to sit around and program a bunch of table data for the sake of organization when I know there's programs that can do it in a fraction of the time. So... you know what to do. :o

Wow, I've never heard of that before, but I must say it looks quite good.

Personally, I'm a big notepad fan myself

I use SciTE personally. Most of the pages I write are Perl scripts anyway.. ;)

On Linux I use gvim, on Windows (well it's been years), I always used EditPlus. It's still my favorite editor, I wish he would release a linux version.

Notepad for all layouts unless you are gonna do something way simple, cuz frontpage is crap except for doing simple routine things like adding text.

All the above suggestions above look good. ;)

I've always used Crimson Editor for HTML/PHP stuff. It's probably not any better than anything else mentioned so far, but it's pretty good.

Yeah, I use Crimson Editor too. After someone here linked me to it a few years ago. The ability to record macros is so useful. I have them set up to things I use a lot such as <br /> to save typing it in every time. The only thing it seems to be lacking is search and replace for \n or \r.

UltraEdit's a great text-editing program with syntax highlighting for just about anything you can think of, and a hex editor to go with it.

But he said he wants to do it WYSIWYG, so I don't see why everyone's throwing text-editors in his face. Just pick up the free trial of Dreamweaver.

Yeah, I have plenty of text editors for the job.

I'm installing Dreamweaver right now.

I use notepad/vim, but I'd really love it if Mazzt would compile his Tabpad program so that I could use it without the .NET framework. *COUGHCOUGH*

I personally just use notepad for html coding although I found EditPad to be of my liking.

I have used Homesite 1.2 ever since 1997. When it was built, it was way ahead of its time, and it still holds up fine even after 9 years.

I used Coffeecup at one point in time, and it wasn't too bad as far as WYSIWYG editors go.

However, SciTe ftw.
