What exactly was the object he broke?

Just say that if he doesn't pay you, you'll tell his parents. That way, he has the choice of whether he wants to escalate or not.

Or just break something of his that's worth about the same amount of money. You know what they say; an eye for an eye...

Several options:

1) Do 50 dollars worth of damage to his car. Keying is for wimps; knife his tires. If its got a carburetor, take the breather off and drop a few pennies in it. If it doesnt, pour a gallon of bleach into the gas tank.

2) Put an ad in the local newspaper... "Young man seeks older male mentor". Include your friend's phone number.

3) Two words: "crowbar" and "face".

Try any of these at your own peril... ;)
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

Option a.) Hire ninjas.

Option b.) shoot him with the Point-of-View gun.

Option c.) Talk to your parents about what you should do.

Tell his parents, but first threaten him with it. If he coughs up the cash, then you're okay, but either way you need your money. There's no being a tattle tail if that's what it comes down to--he damaged your property, you want reimbursement. It was not his money.

Just curious, but how did this kid get hold of one of your PS2 games? I've gathered you're not related, so how on earth did he get his grubby little mits on it?

Please, a bit of background info. Something tells me (though it could just be indigestion) that people on this thread will be a little bit more serious and hopefully helpful if you elaborate.

How much is the game now?

He should replace the game.

He was stupid enough to break your ****, he should have to pay for it. Seriously, it's incredibly rude of him to just expect you to let something that expensive pass.

I agree with whoever posted it first, threaten telling his parents if the little prat still wont pay up.

Some kid stole my Sonic Adventure 2 for Gamecube. He had it since freshmen year...I'm a senior! He kept being a moron and refusing to pay when he has MORE than enough money. I even said he could buy a cheap used copy. So I finnaly got a friend to go to his house, borrow one of his favorite games, and then we went to EB Games, sold it to them and used the money to buy back Sonic Adventure 2.
Think while it's still legal.
