Been watching the prices gradually drop over the last few weeks since they introduced them in spindles... Few months and they'll be worth buying hopefully.

Hopefully in the next few months they'll drop to ~1.00 a piece.

Yeah, I'm probably gonna buy some when they hit around $1 a piece or so. And of course only use them when needed, since +R's are going to be cheaper to use for a long time.

Yeah. When those things reach a sensible price, I'll go and upgrade to a dl drive. Not much use to do it any sooner.

I wonder if DVDs will ever have the capability of playing GBs of music like a regular CD...Or do they already?

I've had a dual-layer drive since last year; never used that feature though. $3.20 a piece is still way too expensive to justify not using regular DVDs.
