hey guys! I just (well, a week ago) got back from my month long trip to France (if you'll remember, I was going all through france with my friend who goes there all the time and staying with her family, I turned 18 there and all sorts of crazy stuff. It was unbelievably awesome. We stayed in Paris, Normandy, the Loire Valley and a town near the Swiss border. We went onto Mont Blanc. Incredible! Anyway, just my little thread to say "hey! I'm back! it was awesome! I'm 18 now!" and all that fun stuff

Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

thanks guys! It's good to be back! my pics kind of suck though (and none of the bathing suit nature) I'm relying on my large stack of postcards instead.

Jeez, I say vacation pictures and you all go and twist it around. What I meant was landscapes, landmarks etc. I'm always curious where people visit when they travel.

Yes, it would be nice to see pictures from France, especially those places you considered unbelievably awesome.

well then postcards would be the ideal, but my scanner isn't quite what you would call "working" so how about a short description of the highlights?

Saint-Chappelle- the King's personal chapel, the coolest place ever. The celing is painted like the night sky. The walls seem to be made of stained glass, and what isn't stained glass is gold, so when the sunlights pours in through the windows, the entire place literally seems to glow with color. I tried to google image search it, but no pictures seemed to do it justice. (which really sucks, because it was the coolest place I've ever seen. and possible will ever see)

Mont Saint Michelle-
[http://www.normandy-tourism.org/photo/ville1/stmich1.jpg]
it was for monks- the cool thing about it is that it's in the middle of this beach (type thing) and when the tide comes in, it becomes its own island

Caen memorial- the best WWII museum I tihnk I will ever see. incredible touching

castles of the Loire Valley including Chambord: [http://www.puzzlehouse.com/images/webpage/chambord.jpg]

Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Marie Antoinette's prison during the revolution, Normandy's beach, the Mont Blanc, etc...

(thanks for the happy birthday, and I'll be sure to call you two)

Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

J'ai jamais été en France encore. Tout les vrais Francais que je connais me dit que c'est très différent d'ici au Québec. J'aimerais bien aller voir.
