Right, because if the Coalition can't root out terrorism, a bunch of guys on a website can.

I'd just like to congratulate all the local channels here for getting 3 hours of coverage out of nothing happening.

I'm sure after terrorists see all the coverage they get even when they *fail*, they certainly won't be trying it again, oh no...

Looks like we're gonna get some new police-state laws out of this, though.

No casualties... it seems to have gone wrong, thankfully.

Hey at least SBS stuck with the important stuff: the cricket. Except for those bits where they cut to that bike race...

If you ask me it was a warning, or they were simply showing off how easy it would be to sneak more explosives onto London's public transport despite all the investigations and coverage.

I went to the city the other day and was pleased at just how indifferent it is. If these wankers are trying to scare Londoners and stopping them from using public transport, it simply isn't working (at least on a grand scale).

If you have some C4, how hard could it be to walk into a crowd and blow yourself up?

I don't think these people give warnings. That's effort better spent slaughtering innocent people.

Terrorism is an act of spreading terror. It will create chaos and fear knowing bombs could go off at any time. It was not a failure. It worked like a charm.

That's true. Terrorism isn't always about killing people. It's about making people afraid that they'll be killed, thereby disrupting their normal routine, which on a large scale, disrupts an entire country.

Just because he's arabic doesn't mean he's a terrorist, but yeah I can understand your concern.

The only problem is that they left some very important clues. I'm sure the British police are happy to get some solid, forensic evidence.

Maybe not a failure in that sense, but I don't believe they accomplished what they set out to do either. If all they'd wanted to do was scared people, they would have just planted the detonators and kept the explosives.

Wow, that must have been very scary for you.

I wouldn't always be looking for arabic people though remember one of the worst bombings in American History (Oklahoma City) was done by a cucassion American.

Yeah but it gets annoying when you bring up threads that are one week old constantly. General rule of thumb is don't revive a thread older than a few days, though if you need to the three week limit is set.

If the limit is three weeks, I don't see the problem with 1 week.
