I'm doing a project on RFID tags right now, and its a damn interesting subject. All the articles I've found so far say that they haven't been implemented in our money yet, but this article suggests otherwise? Does anyone know if this is true or a hoax? I'm not asking you to microwave your 20$s, but if you are so sure its a hoax, wanna give it a shot for me? Thanks.

Thanks. So apparently the US RFID tag theory is a myth. How about the Euros? Also, metal strips in money would also cause it to catch fire in a microwave, and I know some currencies used to use that to foil counterfeiters.

I saw a link somewhere that said only certain microwaves did it.
