Childhood fun

Anyone remember when they were a kid, and they could run around and do crazy stuff and not care at all? :D

Myself, some of the funnest childhood times were spent at a camp that my family lived at for a while when looking for a place to live. All my cousins would come(> 20, believe it or not) and we would do massive RPG at this big camp, forming teams, taking prisoners, running around with fake weapons like sticks...hehe, good times.

Another fun thing is being somewhere for a long time with other kids, like a church while all our parents are in a long meeting or w/e, running around and inside a big building playing large scale hide-and-seek.

These days, all my cousins are older and have more of an "above that" attitude and sit around and do nothing, wheras when we were all younger we would be outside and running around and exploring the woods and stuff, heh.

I could probally think of more stories, but anyway...

Post your favorite childhood experiances! Like mine, ones that were unbelievably fun and involved other people.

Heh I remember playing Super Mario Brothers for the Nintendo when I was 4 or 5, ah those were the days, back when games were the way they were supposed to be.

We used to play a game called "Ninja", which was really just a bunch of kids dressed up like Ninja, running around beating one another senseless with sticks, ropes, baking soda, and of course hand-to-hand combat. We would sometimes play a lighter version of Ninja, which was really just a hardcore game of hide-and-go-seek. My fondest memory of this particular game was the night when I was chased into my backyard by 3 enemies, so I dove into my swimming pool. They surrounded the pool, but wouldn't get in. I eventually made my way out, leaped over a fence (everyone else had to climb them, so I was at a bit of an advantage), and into a neighbors yard. They pursued me at full speed, and I would have made it back to "base", but I got closelined by a closeline. My shoulders and back hit the ground before my legs and the wind was knocked from my lungs. One of the boys tagged me, thus ending the game.

I have so many fond memories of things like that when I was a kid, but sadly, I don't have the time to write anymore. :(

Mr. Arson is the game my Gasoline and I used to play.

"To ashes" we'd scream, as we danced in a circle.

I remember jumping off my roof with a bed sheet attached to my back, proving to my younger sister that I could "fly".

I used to pretend that I was a Jedi knight, and the play equipment in the back yard was the bridge of a star destroyer :o

When I was five I joined a band of bloodthirsty pirate outlaws who went around robbing the honest, pillaging villages, murdering anyone who got in our way, and generally doing anything and everything criminal and unsavory. Then I died. Poop
