Group Decries Urban Outfitters T-Shirt






This is really getting ridiculous. I am sick to death of people complaining about every little thing. It's a friggin joke, just like with the Ghettopoly game and Jewish Girl shirts. A friggin joke. But no, someone, for whatever reason has to be a political correctness *****, and throw a fit over it. It just drives me mad that these people take offense to EVERYTHING.

The New Mexico shirt is a joke, and, partially true.

The Jewish Girl shirt is a joke, but, yet again, is partially true. And, this shirt should be the one complained about least of all, because the only people wearing it are JEWISH GIRLS. If they're not offended, WHY IS ANYONE ELSE?!

It's sad that ther are people whose purpose in life is to find stuff and complain about it on behalf of others. I mean, does anyone but these groups even give a ****?

That's the problem. If they never accomplished anything, they would give up. But there are always some idiots that go along with it.

Their whining can do a lot of the ACLU happens to get behind them. Remember, the ACLU - the so called 'American Civil Liberties Union' - are the people who want 'christmas' off of calanders, but every other holiday on; they are the people who don't want the boyscouts to be able to rent public land - IE, a park in a big city - because they are a 'religious organization'; they are the people who defended the right of NAMBLA to post instructions on how to rape and kill young boys on their website; They are the people who think advocating border security is synonymous with racism.
Just recently, they decided the boyscouts weren't allowed to meet at Quantico. Thankfully, this state is about as conservative as is possible, and we kicked their liberal asses.

'Political correctness' is a plague on our society. Watch some Carlos Mencia. People like him are the cure.

Perhaps I should direct you to the ACLU website for a more accurate view of the issues they fight for.


To the OP, I agree. I think it's silly to oppose things like that. There is such a thing as freedom of speech.

So people are no longer able to speak freely, as far as NAMBLA goes? I mean it IS their right to do it--there's such a thing as freedom of speech. The rest are bull, but the ACLU does many a good thing, like defending against the Patriot Act, defending against unjust government actions, against the expansion of government. While thy may seem like 'liberal scum' you must realize that they're actually quite conservative--quite the opposite of yourself.

You're missing the point, they never did any of the things he said anyway. He seems to think the ACLU is an advocate of political correctness, whereas they are actually an advocate of freedom and protecting citizen's constitutional rights.

Haha, everybody around here got really angsty when that "It's all relative in West Virginia" shirt came out (Note: I live in West Virginia). It was hilarious.

Oh snap, that means I better get my "New Mexico..." shirt soon. I wanted to wear it around UNM this semester.

I've been to Mexico and New Mexico, and all I can say is that that shirt is stating a fact.
