Help us pinpoint future posting, please!

Okay, please do me a favor and do this when you are posting new threads or replying to existing threads:

When you post, towards the bottom of the page there is a thing that says, "The time is now XXXXXX" - before you post, check this against your current clock and make sure it's around the same time (within a few minutes). If it is something like 15 minutes or more off, please take a screenshot of that thing as well as your local time and attach it to a post in this thread.

The people at vbulletin are trying to say that it's because of a "drifting" clock on the server, but that makes no sense because we've had no problems whatsoever in the past. So I think that answer is bogus. Thanks in advance!

Gee, the time was two minutes off (9:36 AM) and this is GMT +2, not GMT +3

All times are GMT +1. The time now is 04:12 PM.

whilst this time is correct (my clock says 16:15), I am certainly not GMT +1. I live something like 10 miles from Greenwich, so I'm pretty sure I'm in the same timezone :p

Are you running an ntp server? Time drift is a security problem, but it might not be the problem in this case.

A lazy clock doesn't make sense at all, because the future posts are sometimes hours ahead.

Agreed, when I posted, JG's post was at the bottom. However, I hadn't read this thread, so I didn't check the time. However, for this post:
