A little while ago I was reading a thread in the forums here, where someone was talking about a game they were playing in multiplayer. They were specifically talking about problems they had with their team members and how some other people wanted to pilot the blackhawk they were flying. I wish I could remember more specifics about it, but I'm afraid I can't. My question is, what game was this? It apparently was a large team-based game featuring vehicles that were drivable/flyable. I was thinking Battlefield 1942, but thats a world war 2 game. Maybe a mod for it? I don't know, but I'm looking for information on it.

Could be Battlefield 2, or Desert Combat. Maybe even Joint Operations.

I would say it's worth the money. Just keep in mind that the recommended specs are extremely high. You'll need a powerful PC to enjoy the game.

I'm jsut above the requirements and the game runs well enough to play. It's not as pretty as a it could be, but it's still fun as heck.

I've got a pretty powerful machine, so no worries there.

Could be Battlefield Vietnam -- I don't remember seeing Blackhawks in Battlefield 2, but I could be mistaken.

vietnam is a little early for blackhawks... by at least a couple years

but yeah the thread was about BF2... i never fly in those games anyway (ok i have jumped into the occasional fighter to ram the moron who took a B17 out alone in BF42)... if you see me camping an aircraft spawn... i'm waiting for a pilot

BF2? China and some fictional Middle Eastern militia, just like Desert Combat.

I fly when I've got a stick, and I won't fly choppers with a keyboard (although one guy I know is extremely good at it). The best thing is controlling the skies in a map requiring amphib landings
