Any of you guys use Limewire?

A bunch of my friends use it, but I'm still a bit sceptical about using it. Just wondered if it was a good program, if there is a better alternative, and if it had any spyware on it to speak of.

Aye, used it for a while [the pro version], no spyware included in the install. Rather good, but can cause some slowdown.
nope.
WinMX is umpteenbilliontimes better. Either way, they both use the same network, both transmit the same viruses, and both are unreliable. I'd rely on torrents to get stuff or 'stuff' more than I would either client.
Quoted.

It's worked fine for me. You can get viruses from torrents as well, but they're easier to catch.

It's always worked just fine for me, I also know some people who use Ares, but I've never used it myself

I use it to nab music videos. I've found it and Ares useful.

Downloads in Ares slow down as you get to the end so the programme is open for longer, I just don't trust it because of that.
nope.
